Courses for beginners and open studio
In the workshop I teach the technique of ceramic castings and the creation of objects from liquid clay using plaster molds.
Each participant will learn to make objects such as trays, cups, bowls, vases, flower pots, etc - beginning from the selection of shape and mold, through familiarization with the ceramic material and processing it, to finishing and glazing.
The plaster molds allow the production of multiple items from the same tool with simple technology.
At the end of the workshop, everyone ends up with 8-10 ready-made objects and with a self-made mold that allows the continued production of additional objects.
*Following the workshop, the studio is open on a class machine on Mondays and Wednesdays for anyone interested in continuing to create with the material (intended for those who have experience working in castings or did the workshop and learned the technique).

First session - introduction to the technique and first experience working with the material. In this session I will explain the properties of the ceramic material and different techniques for working with it.
Second session - creating a plaster mold for an object of your choice.
In this meeting, everyone will make a plaster mold from an object that they brought themselves or chose from the collection in the studio.
Third session - first ceramic casting and work on ceramic objects.
In this meeting, you learn how to prepare a mold for casting and then make your first casting, each in the mold you made.
In addition, we will create additional castings with existing molds in the studio, so that it will be possible to create a variety of objects.
Fourth session - additional castings and preparation of objects for the first firing.
After learning most of the steps of working with the material, the rest of this meeting is in the format of a regular working day in the studio.

Fifth session - In this session we will work on previous objects - preparation of objects before first firing, glazing for objects that have undergone first firing.
Sixth meeting - the last meeting is in the format of independent work in the studio.
In this session we will work on objects that came out of the molds or from the first firing and prepare them for the next step.
At the end of the day, we'll make a toast celebrating the end of the workshop.
In addition, I will explain the possibilities of continuing to work and create in the studio.
